Abstract:Objective: To investigate the effect of suboccipital muscle fascia release combined with radiofrequency of cervical 2 nerve roots in patients with cervicogenic headache. Methods: 84 cases of cervicogenic headache admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to June 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. According to different treatment plans, they were divided into the conventional group (radiofrequency therapy of cervical 2 dorsal root ganglion) and the research group (suboccipital fascia release combined with radiofrequency of cervical 2 nerve root), 42 cases in each group, for comparative study. Results: The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the conventional group, that is, the difference was statistically significant [40 (95.24) vs33 (78.57),X2=5.126,P=0.000]. There was no significant difference in scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the VAS score, ROM score and NDI score of the study group were significantly lower than those of the conventional group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in neck hemodynamic indexes between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, LVA Vm, BAVm and RVAVm in the study group were significantly increased, while RI was significantly decreased, with statistical significance (P<0.05). In the course of treatment in this study, no obvious adverse reactions occurred in the study group and the conventional group.
