Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of medical three oxygen water injection of dorsal root ganglion combined with high voltage pulsed radiofrequency in the treatment of malignant tumor complicated with acute herpes zoster neuralgia after chemotherapy. Methods 86 patients with malignant tumor chemotherapy complicated with acute thoracolumbar herpes zoster neuralgia ( VAS score > 6 ) were selected and divided into two groups ( 43 in each group ), high-voltage pulsed radiofrequency group ( control group ) and high-voltage pulsed radiofrequency combined with medical ozone injection ( experimental group ). All patients received the same basic treatment. The pain, sleep quality and negative emotion scores of the patients were scored before operation and 1 day, 3 days, 7 days, 15 days and 30 days after operation. The incidence of postherpetic neuralgia and adverse reactions were observed. Results The VAS score, sleep quality and negative emotion value of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group at each observation time point after operation ( P < 0.05 ). The incidence of postherpetic neuralgia and other adverse reactions in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). Conclusion High-voltage pulsed radiofrequency combined with ozone water injection in the treatment of elderly patients with acute herpes zoster neuralgia after chemotherapy for malignant tumors can effectively reduce pain, improve patients " negative emotions and sleep quality, and reduce the occurrence of postherpetic neuralgia.
