Abstract:Functional anorectal pain is a group of syndromes with abnormal anorectal sensation as the main complaint, which is defined by Roman IV guidelines as neurosis of anorectal site and belongs to the category of somatoform disorders. Medical workers are in the dilemma of diagnosis and treatment, and patients are faced with the reality of resignation. It is an urgent problem to improve the diagnosis and treatment of functional anorectal pain through further research and summary. Based on the review of relevant literatures in recent years, this paper expounds the progress of diagnosis and treatment of functional anorectal pain from the aspects of pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment strategy.
