Abstract:With the advancement of modern lifestyle, Chronic pain is becoming more and more common. Due to the complexity of pain causing factors and the uncertainty of pain pathogenesis, there are still problems that cannot be completely alleviated and the long-term effect is not good after treatment, which has caused greater mental pressure and sense of loss of control to Chronic pain patients, resulting in the decline of their quality of life and social ability. Research has found that exercise can exert analgesic effects by reducing inflammation attacks, enhancing the downward inhibitory effect of pain perception, and improving adverse emotions. Therefore, exercise, as a low-cost, low-risk, long-term and short-term treatment, is of great significance for the prevention and treatment of Chronic pain. This article reviews the role of exercise therapy in Chronic pain and the mechanism of exercise analgesia in recent years, in order to provide the basis for exercise rehabilitation for patients with Chronic pain.
