Abstract:With the concept of EARS,the percutaneous foraminal technique combines the foraminal approach with the endoscopic technique to achieve minimally invasive surgery and effective disease treatment. To avoid iatrogenic nerve injury during surgery, regional block combined with intravenous analgesics is always used as the main method for foramen surgery to preserve the patient"s consciousness and nerve susceptibility. Good perioperative analgesia management is not ony the basis for the success operation but also can enhance recovery after surgery. A variety of regional block methods, combined visualization technology have been successfully applied to the perioperative analgesia of percutaneous transforaminal endoscopic surgery. This article reviews the advantages and disadvantages of the current regional block technology used.
