Abstract:This paper reports a case of postherpetic neuralgia in the cervical spinal nerve distribution area treated in our department. The patient was complicated with cervical and thoracic spinal stenosis, which was not suitable for spinal cord electrical stimulation. After short-term brachial plexus electrical stimulation, the pain was relieved obviously and had a lasting effect. The experiences of diagnosis and treatment were summarized and the related literatures were reviewed to provide references for clinicians.
