    Abstract:

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of virtual reality (VR) in patients with primary dysmenorrhea; Methods: Female dysmenorrhea volunteers enrolled in Beijing University of Science and Technology from May 2022 to September 2022 were randomly divided into two groups. There are 30 patients in each group. Group A: VR experimental group. When patients have dysmenorrhea, they are given VR (Jianhe Technology Silicon Valley Co., Ltd., United States), and recorded before, after treatment (immediately after treatment), after treatment (30 minutes after treatment), visual analog scale, anxiety score (Hamilton Anxiety Scale). At the same time, they are given pain index monitoring (to evaluate the objective pain degree of the subject). Group B: Patients with dysmenorrhea were treated by watching movies for 30 minutes, recording VAS scores, anxiety scores (Hamilton Anxiety Scale) before treatment, after treatment (immediately after treatment), and after treatment (30 minutes after treatment). At the same time, patients were monitored by Pain Index Pi (to assess the objective pain degree of the subjects). Results: This study found that the immersion VR scene could significantly reduce the pain level of dysmenorrhea patients. From the pain index (PI) and VAS, the pain level of patients was significantly reduced. Compared with the control group, the VR experimental group had significant statistical significance, and the pain relief was more obvious.
