Abstract:Pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) has gradually become a commonly used interventional treatment for pain because of its low damage to tissues, few complications and low economic cost. As the primary center of pain signaling, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) has also become an important target for clinical interventional treatment of chronic pain. In recent years, the application of pulsed radio frequency of dorsal root ganglion in pain has become a hot spot in domestic and foreign research, and this article will summarize the analgesic mechanism, application field, complications, treatment advantages and disadvantages, etc., so as to provide reference for further exploring new strategies in pain diagnosis and treatment.
