Abstract:Lumbar disc herniation is one of the common diseases in the Department of Pain Management. The technique of intervertebral foramina has achieved remarkable curative effect and wide application in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation. With the extensive application of intervertebral foramina, the incidence of complications, such as bleeding, infection and nerve injury, has also increased. Nerve injury is a common complication of intervertebral foramen surgery with intraoperative or postoperative symptoms such as weakness, numbness, pain or paresthesia in damaged innervation area. Irreversible damage of nerve injury patients have bad quality of life without timely treatment. In this paper, one patient’ clinical manifestations and treatment measures were reported of intervertebral foramen mirror postoperative lumbar spinal nerve root injury, and temporary spinal cord stimulation implant therapy was beneficial to the recovery of spinal nerve root injury.
