Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the clinical effect of ultrasound-guided cervical nerve block combined with silver needle heat conduction therapy in the treatment of cervical vertebra disease. Methods: 86 patients with conforms to the diagnostic criteria of cervical vertebra disease, random assigned into control and trail groups. Control group (C group) received silver needle heat therapy; Trail group (T group) received Ultrasound-guided cervical nerve block combined with silver needle heat therapy. All patients received the assigned treatment once per week for 2 weeks. The scores of digital evaluation scale (Numerical rating scale NRS) and neck pain scale (Northwick park neck pain questionnaire NPQ) were used before and after treatment at 1,2,4,8 and 12 weeks. Results: The pain of the two groups was obviously improved after treatment. Conclusions: In the short term after treatment, the analgesic effect of ultrasound guided cervical nerve block combined with silver needle heat conduction therapy was better than that of silver needle heat conduction therapy alone. But in the long term after treatment, the pain relief degree of the two groups was basically the same.
