Abstract:Osteoarthritis (OA)) is a degenerative chronic joint disease. At present, the clinical treatment effect is not good, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. JAK/STAT signaling pathway not only participates in the regulation of normal physiological processes, but also plays a key role in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis, especially in inflammation and cartilage and bone destruction. This article reviews the role of JAK/STAT signaling pathway in the occurrence and development of osteoarthritis, inflammation of osteoarthritis, the mechanism of osteoarthritis cartilage and subchondral bone degeneration, and the research status of targets related to this pathway in the treatment of osteoarthritis.
