Abstract:Abstract Objective:To explore the clinical effect and safety of extracorporeal shock wave combined with silver needle thermal conduction in the treatment of diabetes me with frozen shoulder. Methods:Sixty patients with diabetes combined with frozen shoulder were selected and randomly divided into two groups, thirty patients in each group:Control group (group A):extracorporeal shock wave treatment ;Observation group (group B):extracorporeal shock wave combined with silver needle thermal conduction treatment; The score of shoulder pain and disability index (SPADI), range of motion (ROM) and complications treatment were recorded before treatment and 1weeks, 4weeks, 8weeks, 12 weeks after the first treatment. Results: There was no significant difference in SPADI score and ROM between the two groups before treatment, and there were significant changes in SPADI score and ROM between the two groups at each time point after treatment compared with before treatment (P < 0.05).Compared with group A, there were more significant changes in SPADI score and ROM in group B (P < 0.05) and no serious adverse reactions. Conclusion:The treatment of frozen shoulder with extracorporeal shock wave combined with silver needle can effectively relieve the pain and shoulder joint function without obvious adverse reactions.Suitable for diabetics.
