Abstract:Objective To find the effects of sympathetic nerves and muscle satellite cells in the repair of myofascial trigger points. Methods 30 SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups, rats in the experimental group were injected with 6-OHDA to block the sympathetic nerves in the first stage; in the second stage, myofascial trigger points model was accomplished by combating combined with centrifugal movement. Them, we tested the concentration of TNF-α, NE, 5-HT in rat plasma and MyoD and MyoG concentrations in the muscle of trigger points. Result 1. The concentration of 5-HT in the plasma of the rats in the experimental group and the nerve block group was significantly lower than that in the other three groups (P<0.05); 2. The concentration of MyoD in the trigger points of the control group was significantly higher than that in the B, D and E groups, MyoG concentration in the control group was significantly higher than that in group B and C; 3. There was no significant difference in the concentration of MyoD and MyoG between the muscle of trigger points and contralateral muscle in each group. Conclusion 1. Sympathetic nerves resection affects the inflammatory of the trigger points; 2. Sympathetic nerves has no effect on the proliferation and differentiation of satellite cells in trigger points; 3. It can not be concluded that sympathetic nerves can affect the inflammatory by affecting the proliferation and differentiation of muscle satellite cells.
