Abstract:Objective: To analyze the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture at Jiaji points on discogenic low back pain. Methods: From September 2016 to August 2018, 65 patients with discogenic low back pain were treated by electro-acupuncture at Jiaji points for 9 times. VAS score and JOA score were used to analyze the clinical effect in different time periods. The results of clinical treatment were analyzed by using VAS scoring method, JOA scoring method and post-treatment scoring improvement rate respectively. Results: VAS score was significantly lower after treatment than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(after treatment 3 times: T = 16.59, P <0.05; After 6 treatments: T = 24.30, P< 0.05; After 9 treatments: T = 29.14, P<0.05); The JOA score was significantly higher than before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(after 3 treatments: T = -14.47, P< 0.05; After 6 treatments: T = -14.57, P<0.05; After 9 treatments: T = -21.14, P<0.05). The overall efficiency is 92.3 %. Conclusions: Electro-acupuncture at Jiaji Points can achieve satisfactory results in the treatment of discogenic low back pain, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
