Abstract:Objective: To observe the efficacy of infrared thermal imagery combined shock wave therapy on chronic scapulohumeral periarthritis. Methods: 78 patients with chronic scapulohumeral periarthritis from March 2016 to September 2017 were included in this study. They were randomly divided into treatment group(n=39) and observation group(n=39) by random number table.Treatment group was treated with infrared thermal imagery combined shock wave therapy, and observation group was only treated with shock wave therapy. Observing the comparison between Pain-NRS scores, Shoulder-ROM and ADL Scores before therapy and after therapy first month, sixth month and one year. Results: There is statistical significance in treatment effectiveness between two groups. Conclusion: Combining infrared thermal imagery with shock wave therapy on chronic scapulohumeral periarthritis has more clinic curative effect than simple shock wave therapy.
