Abstract:Objective: To investigate the related influencing factors and reasons that had a negativeSview about the use of analgesic drugs among inpatient in department of pain. Methods: A total of 165 inpatients were recruited from department of pain and a questionnaire survey was performed between January and March, 2017, with rates of a rejecting counted, the general information, pain degree, attitudes towards the use of analgesic drugs and reasons had a negativeSview about the use of it from the completed questionnaires were statistically analyzed. Results Among 165 inpatients, 113 had a negativeSview about the use of analgesic drugs, data from the multiple logistic regression analysis indicated that those used to use analgesic drugs, had received introduce of analgesic drugs, from medical staff, had a higher monthly disposable income, being public officer, with higher educational background, less thanS60Syears"Sage, VAS score 7~10 and the pain lasts more than one year were more likely had a positiveSview about the use of analgesic drugs; the reasons that had a negativeSview about the use of analgesic drugs among 113 inpatients including: drug addiction(39, 33.63%), affect postoperative recovery(27, 23.89%), medicationSside effect (22, 19.47%), when the pain is unbearable use only (15, 13.27%), expensive(10, 8.85%); reasons for had a negativeSview about the use of analgesic drugs would vary by different groups. Conclusion Most of inpatient in department of pain had a negativeSand passive view about the use of analgesic drugs, it was urgently needed to enhance health education programs tailored for those patients according to different characteristics and reasons for had a negative attitudes.
