Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of radiofrequency in the treatment of neuropathic cancer pain. Methods: 42 cases of cancer patients who had failed to relief pain with Diclofenac and anticonvulsants were divided into two groups randomly and treated by morphine(group A,n=20) and morphine combined with radiofrequency(group B,n=22) respectively. The total consumption of the antalgesic and quality of life were observed to evaluate efficacy and safety of these drugs. Results: The total efficiency in group B was significantly higher than that in group A(P<0.05),and there were more improvements in life quality of patients and less side effects in group B than that in group A.Conclusion: Radiofrequency can be used in treating the neuropathic cancer pain efficiently and safely.
