Abstract:Objectives: To assess the management of neuropathic pain using neurotropin by intramuscular injection.Methods: 40 patients with neuropathic pain were randomly divided into two groups.The control group only adminatrated with Celebrex at dosage of 0.2 g twice daily,and the trial group receiving nerotropnin at dosage of 3.6 U by intramuscular injection twice daily,the course of treatment both were 14 days.Results: The value of VAS decreased significantly after administration compared with pretreatment in all of the patients,and their simultaneous phenomenon improved markedly without apparent adverse reactions.Conclusion: The results suggest that it is effective,safe and convenient on the management of neuropathic pain using neurotropin by intramuscular injection.
