Abstract:Objective: To assess the safety and efficacy of percutaneous disc decompression with Decompressor on treatment of lumbar disc herniation(LDH) cases. Methods: 46 contained LDH patients were employed.Under the guidance of X-ray,all of the patients were treated by disc decompression with Decompressor through posterolateral approach. The theraputic effect was evaluated by compare VAS,SLRT and good-excellent rate of therapy before and after treatment at day 3 and month 3.Results: The VAS scores and SLRT between pre-and post-treatment were significant different(P<0.05).The good-excellent rate of therapy at day 3 and month 3 was 82.61% and 89.13%,respectively.There were no serious complications after the treatment.Colnclusion: Disc decompression with decompressor can treat LDH effectively and safely. The procedure has the advantages of minimal invasion, simple manipulation, high safety, good efficacy and capable of quantitative and qualitative analysis of the disc sample aspirated.
