Abstract:Objective:To understand the operative patient's attitude toward postoperative analgesia.Method:We designed a questionnaire for 250 patients undergoing elective surgery in our hospital.Result:Most of patients recognized the cause that led to postoperative pain and were eager to accept postoperative analgesia.Intramuscular route was the first analgesia type that most of patients selected.Most of patients didn't know that anesthetist doctors take part in post operative analgesia. Patients of different education level had different attitude toward postoperative analgesia.Conclusion:It is important and necessary to develop suitable and effective postoperative analgesia.In order to improve the status and the standard of anesthesiology, anesthetist should be enthusiastic to take part in postoperative analgesia.
