Abstract:In the test of pain induced by hot-plate in mice, the malondialdehyde (MDA)contont in plasma increased markedly. When the pain was induced twice, the increase of MDA concentration was much more obvious. In the writhing test in mice, the MDA con tents in brain, plasma and peritoneal wash fluid also increased significantly. Subcutuneous morphine 5 mg. kg-1 could inhibit the increase of MDA. It was further found that the activities of plasma superoxide dismutuse and glutathione peroxidase in hot-plate and writhing model enhanced markedly. The results showed that the MDA increased at the pain process and antioxidative ability also enhanced.
