Abstract:The effects of Super-Lizer HA-550 (S-L) on the pain from chronic soft tissue injury were investigated in this study. Methods: 60 patients with chronic soft tissue pain selected from the pein clinic were divided into 2 groups (S-L group and control group). Those in S-L group were treated by S-L, the others by nerve block. The effects of the two methods were compared by VAS during the treatments. Results: There was obvious difference between the VAS before and after the treatment in both groups (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in the VAS, its decreasing rate and the effective rate between the two groups (P>0. 05). The number of treatment was more and the recurrent rate was less in the S-L group than the control group (P<0. 05). Conclusion: S-L is one of the effective methods in treating the chronic soft tissue pain.
