Abstract:The purpose of this study was to observe the clinical effects of radiofrequency thermocoagulation for the patients with low-back pain and its mechanism of action.32 patients were included in the present study.Percutaneous puncture radiofrequency thermocoagulation was performed on posterior rami of lumbar spinal nerves with radiofrequency therapeutic mechine.Excellent result was obtained in 84.4%of cases.It is suggested that a close relationship exists between the injury of the posterior rami of lumbar spinal nerves and lowback pain.Radiofrequency thermocoagulation of the posterior rami of lumbar spinal nerves play a positive role in the treatment of low-back pain.The complications,the selection of patients and the possible mechanisms of action were discussed.
