Abstract:A contrast study of migrane symptoms in premenstrual and menstrual perios was made in 540 female patients at childbearing age.Patients who were strongly related to menstrual cycle and selected patients who were not related to menstrual cycle were chosen from epidemiological investigation of migrane in China according to 1:1 ratio.It was foundthat several symptoms were strongly associated with the degree and prequency of migriane attacks.Comparison of the therapeutic effects produced by Nilestrioli and antianxiety drugs revealed that cure rates were 49.0%and 27.7%during treating for nilisrioli and antianxiety drugs respactively.Recurrence rate of migrane was 88.0%for the former after stoping treatment,while the latter was still effective in 84.6%of the patients.It is prospected that treatment with both drugs would be more effective.
